NSPM – Shirala, Sangli District in Western Maharashtra, which is declared as a Mountaineous and Hilly Region ( Dongri Taluka) by the Government of Maharashtra under the leadership of Shri Shivajirao Deshmukh( Ex Speaker, Maharashtra Legislative Council). Blessed with abundance of nature but no livelihood sources the residents were forced to migrate to metro cities to make a living. Hon Shri Shivajirao Deshmukh envisioned education to generate employment and this dream of his was further formalized in the form of trust by his Son Shri. Satyajit Deshmukh & and Daughter-in-Law Mrs. Renuka Deshmukh.
Ninaidevi Shikshan Prasarak Mandal, a Trust registered in the year 2000 by Shri Satyajit Shivajirao Deshmukh Mrs. Renuka Satyajit Deshmukh focusing on the STEM learning and Professional courses required by the region. It is a benchmark in imparting affordable professional quality education in 21 years has diversified its educational facilities. Today the trust has primary & secondary schools and 12 higher educational institutes under its roof. This includes mainly science colleges, nursing institute, agricultural polytechnic, Colleges imparting Teachers Education, Skill Development center and center of Rural excellence
The Trust is a model in Welfare Education. Tens of Thousands of students have benefitted, livelihoods generated and a reverse migration noticed
